No doubt homosexuals suffer. And no doubt some in same sex relationships long for kids. And no doubt people with SSA love each other.
However a same sex union is not a marriage in the same way that a bicycle is not a car.
And just because some people crash their cars it does not make what they had less of a car.
And just because some people are unhappy, or hurt, or wounded in marriage it does not lessen the specialness of marriage.
Hurt, pain, suffering and longing are all fruits of our fallen nature.
The pursuit of happiness doesn't seem to be working very well in the USA. I'm not sure we are called to be happy in this world. We are, however, called to be good, to take up our cross daily and follow Him.
